Triathlon

So I have been really lazy since I ran the marathon. I want to get back in shape (specially with my wedding coming up) but I feel like a need a goal. So I thought of doing a triathlon. I looked for triathlons around my area and found one in Luray, VA on August 16.

That is 8 weeks away! Ahh.. but I am going to try it out. I will attempt the spring triathlon (750m swim/16-mile bike/5K run).

I am a little scared of the swimming. I have never really liked swimming, and haven't done it in years, but we will see how it goes. Fairfax county offers some recreation centers that where I could use the pool:

I found this 8 week training program from Hal Higdon:

Runner+

I have been using the nike+ website to keep track of my runs, but it really annoyed me that you could not see split times.
Therefore I looked for other sites where I could track my runs. I did not want to do something manual, but I found this http://www.runnerplus.com site that synchronizes your runs from nike+, and it shows more information (split times!).
